Great place for any aviation enthusiast. The restaurant is right besides the runway and you can see lot of private planes la ding and taking off. There are hangars in the side where you can walk and see the planes up close. Food was pretty good and regular priced. The Steak chimichurri was pretty good and perfectly cooked to the term i requested. The fried bread pudding was pretty good as well

A super cool find that serves up delicious food. Salads are stellar, each served with a piece of toast with burnt sugar on top. Beware, each soda costs 5

How cool to enjoy your meal right there by the ramp. The Silver Lining Salad was incredible! They were very busy, and it isn't hard to see why.

I loved it here. The staff is friendly. The wait was not long in my opinion. The view is so beautiful and bright once you sit down. The water is fresh (it’s double-filtered, I asked!) and the menu has something for everyone - classic dishes and unique dishes too. We came for brunch on a Sunday. My husband liked his Banyan breakfast and I loved my fried bread pudding. The bread pudding looks like a tasty dish but it had so much flavor - I tasted pumpernickel and coriander seeds. 10/10 will definitely go back.

What a pleasant surprise, cute restaurant tucked right off the runway of the airport. The staff were very nice, quick and friendly. I didnt think i would get a window view but guess what...I did ...watched private flights arrive and depart...while enjoying Hot Coffee, Eggs Benedict and a tasty bread pudding (that I shared a piece with, a fellow patron, who were enjoying breakfast and fellowship with her friends, she asked what it was and was it good...Me: you want a piece? Her: ummm yes, Friends: leave her alone). I love, love a good bread pudding and this fried bread pudding was perfect!! The ambience of the place was nostalgic, it was full and others were waiting, I know why. If you find yourself, near Commercial in Ft Lauderdale check out Jet Runway Cafe....breakfast or lunch. Fun little diner at the airport. I’m an aviation enthusiast so for me it was great but even my wife and kids enjoyed our breakfast. Not too many airplanes at our time but I can see it getting busy on the weekends for viewing and patronage. Overall the food was excellent and the service was quick and polite. They had an excellent kids menu as well with aviation games and puzzles. Will try and convince the family to come back again before our trip is over.
